Senior US Customs Specialist.

Implements Customs Section policies and programs in accordance with laws and regulations of Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and other government agencies. Drives change in the Customs area to limit Manufacturing’s legal exposure, minimize duty/fee expenses, limit delays in importing and exporting material from the U.S. Develops processes to eliminate or minimize shipment delays to/from United States and prevent production Manufacturing Corp delays. Researches and current with changes to Customs law and ensures that Manufacturing's policies, processes and procedures are in compliance with Customs law and changes. Interacts on behalf of Manufacturing Customs Section with high level government officials within Customs, Homeland Security and other governmental agencies as required. Provides assistance in ensuring that Manufacturing participates in beneficial programs available through Customs and other applicable governmental agencies. Administers an internal audit program of all government reporting and documentation .

Specific Requirements:

1. BA/BS in Business Administration, International studies, or related field, (required) and ALL of the following: and must have Customs Broker License!

2. Minimum 6-8 years experience with operation of FTZ's (Foreign Trade Zones).

3. Five years experience interaction with high-level governmental officials.

4. Five years experience in a supervisory / project leadership role.

5. Five years experience, U.S. Custom’s other governmental regulations applicable to the Customs..

6. Five years experience MS Office computer skills including database management software skills.

7. Five years interaction with upper management at Customs, Census, Homeland Security and other governmental agencies.
